Saint Peter Catholic School is a Christ-centered educational community committed to imparting the message of Jesus Christ. Saint Peter Catholic School, located in historic New Castle, Delaware, since 1906, is an integral part of Saint Peter the Apostle Parish. It is a faith community comprised of families, students, teachers, administrators, and support staff united in a common purpose of Christian living and learning. Teachers reflect commitment to their ministry as they integrate Gospel values into the academic curriculum. The entire community strives to model and affirm these values to one another.


Our Mission is...

Saint Peter Catholic School, a community enriched by its diversity and ties to historic New Castle, provides a Catholic education for students in Pre-K through eighth grade.  A challenging curriculum allows all students to reach their fullest potential spiritually, academically, and socially.  In partnership with dedicated parents, committed teachers, and the parish, students are encouraged to live daily the core values of respect, reverence, and responsibility.  Our program, welcoming families of all faiths and cultures, educates for life instilling in students skills that produce adults who are active members of the church and contributing citizens of society.

Diocesan tuition assistance applications

are being sent home. Parents who need assistance are encouraged to apply on line through FACTS.  The deadline is March 1st. It is necessary to have this paperwork on file to receive all forms of tuition assistance including funds through the school.

SCHOOL HOURS

First Yard Bell, Second Yard Bell. 7:55 AM .8:00 AM. Students are to walk quietly to their lines. Students quietly enter the building.

First Dismissal Bell Second Dismissal Bell 2:30 PM 2:40 PM Students prepare for dismissal. Students are called for dismissal.

A faculty member will be on yard duty beginning at 7:30 AM. Please be aware that the school yard is not supervised by an adult before that time. Students arriving before 7:30 AM. must go to Extended Care Program.
